Formally a wine expert and consultant, Joey has been exploring international cuisines for the past 15 years. Moving to Toronto in 2016 from Australia, Joey has been general manager as well as executive chef in many top restaurants including Carmen's Steakhouse, Ricardas and Hibachi in the Thompson hotel to name a few.
Currently, he is head chef and general manager of Stori Aperitivo on King East. On his spare time, he consults for other restaurants, improving food and wine menus. Although not classically trained as a chef, Joey's passion for food and international travel have brought a true devotion to his art.
